Gerwah safety couplings

GERWAH's safety couplings protect engines, servos and connections from damage due to operation errors or malfunction. In case of overload, the high-speed cut-out function of the coupling disconnects the backlash-free connection of driver and driven component within milliseconds.

• Torque Limiter Type BD
  Precision ball detent torque limiter series designed to protect rotating machinery from an over-load. In the event of an overload the torque limiter will quickly and accurately disengage at a pre-set torque value and trip an optional limit switch. Available in single position and random reset versions.
• Torque Limiter Type FC
  Friction type torque limiter economical to operate and maintain. In the event of an overload the torque limiter will slip. Once the overload is removed, the unit will continue to transmit torque. These types are available in many different configurations including shaft couplings.
